el IX Congreso de CELAO sobre Estudios Latinoamericanos

El Consejo de Estudios Latinoamericanos de Asia y Oceanía (CELAO)
se fundó en la XI Asamblea General de la Federación Internacional de Estudios
sobre América Latina y el Caribe (FIEALC) en Osaka en septiembre de 2003. Tiene
como objetivo reunir a investigadores, académicos y representantes de
instituciones y organismos internacionales, en especial, de Asia y Oceanía,
pero también de otros lugares del mundo, para compartir sus conocimientos y
experiencias en el campo de estudios latinoamericanos.
CELAO ya ha celebrado ocho congresos internacionales:

I Congreso - 2005, en la Universidad La Trobe en Melbourne,
Australia;
·
II Congreso - 2007, en el Centro de Convenciones COEX en Seúl,
Corea del Sur;
·
III Congreso - 2008, en la Universidad Nacional Abierta Indira
Gandhi en Nueva Delhi, India;
·
IV Congreso - 2010, en la Universidad de Guadalajara en
Guadalajara, México;
·
V Congreso - 2012, en la Universidad de Asia y el Pacífico en
Manila, Filipinas;
·
VI Congreso - 2014, en la Universidad de Kioto en Kioto, Japón;
·
VII Congreso - 2016, en la Universidad Victoria de Wellington en
Wellington, Nueva Zelanda;
·
VIII Congreso- 2018, en la Universidad de Macao en Macao R. A. E.,
China.
El IX Congreso de CELAO tendrá lugar
en la Universidad de Shanghai el 5 de agosto de 2023.
En el IX Congreso de CELAO se discutirá sobre los principales
temas teóricos y prácticos de la política, desarrollo económico, relaciones
exteriores, diplomacia, desarrollo social, historia y cultura de América Latina
y el Caribe. Idiomas de trabajo: chino, español, inglés, portugués.
No se requiere cuota de inscripción, pero los costes de viaje
internacional y de alojamiento correrán a cargo del participante.
Los interesados, por favor, envíen el resumen (alrededor de 500 palabras) de su presentación, junto con su nombre, cargo/título, correo electrónico y afiliación (nombre de la universidad o grupo de expertos) a la siguiente dirección antes del 10 de mayo de 2023: celao2023shanghai@126.com
Los ponentes invitados recibirán una invitación por correo electrónico antes de finales de mayo de 2023.

the 9th CELAO Conference on Latin America

The Latin American Studies Council of Asia and Oceania (El Consejo
de Estudios Latinoamericanos de Asia y Oceanía, CELAO) was established at the
11th General Assembly of the International Federation of Latin American and
Caribbean Studies (Federación Internacional de Estudios de América Latina y el
Carib, FIEALC) in Osaka in September 2003. It aims to bring together academics
and intellectuals from Asia/Oceania and other places around the world to share
their knowledge and experiences in the field of Latin American studies.
CELAO has already held eight international conferences:
- 1st Conference - 2005, at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia;
- 2nd Conference - 2007, at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul, South Korea;
- 3rd Conference - 2008, at Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi, India;
- 4th Conference - 2010, at the University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico;
- 5th Conference - 2012, at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Manila, Philippines;
- 6th Conference - 2014, at Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan;
- 7th Conference - 2016, at Victoria University of Wellington in Wellington, New Zealand;
- 8th Conference - 2018, at the University of Macau in Macau S. A. R,. China.
The 9th conference (CELAO 2023) will take place at the Shanghai
University on August 5 (Saturday), 2023. It will discuss the main theoretical and practical issues of Latin
American politics, economy, foreign relations, society, history, culture, etc.
Working languages: Chinese, Spanish, English, Portuguese.
No registration fee is required, but the costs of international travel and hotel room would be borne by the participant.
